Computer Training

Core Competencies:Each class will be one and a half hours and the same class is offered 3 times each week. Subjects are Windows I & II, Word I & II, and Internet.

Sessions are given in the Spring and Fall on an as needed basis. If you would like to sign up for classes please call the library at 978-671-0948 ext 4 and ask to placed on the waiting list. Patrons are called 2 weeks prior to a session starting.

Monday

6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Tuesday

2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Thursday

Schedules may change as demand requires.

 

Due to the different levels of ability of patrons to use a computer we encourage everyone interested in signing up for a class to  go to the following website: Mouserobics! If you do not have a computer at home you are welcome to use one of our many internet stations here at the library to practice your computer skills.

 

Email Training: For patrons who do not have email accounts and would like to set one up staff members are available for one-to-one sessions in order to create and use an internet based email account. Call the Reference Dept at 978-671-0948 x4 to arrange for an appointment.

 

Other Training: The library has a number of videos on basic computers and Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel. These cover both beginner and advanced users and are available for you to check out and watch at home.
