Your Laptop

HARDWIRE: The library has over 30 spots around the library where a patron can plug in their laptop and go online. Laptops must have a network card and patrons must have a cat5 cable to plug into the data port.

• Our Internet Policy applies to all patrons accessing the internet in the library regardless of whether its on a public station or a personal laptop.

• Personal computers are accessing a public network. Patrons are responsible for protecting their computers from viruses and hackers.

• The library is not responsible for equipment left unattended.

WIRELESS: The library provides wireless access on the first and second floors of the library. Your laptop will need to have a wireless card and it can be wireless a, b, or g compatible.
