2010 Young Adult Summer Reading Program
IT'S SO EASY, EVEN A CAVEMAN CAN DO IT!
To participate in this program, come to the library on June 21, 2010 at 5:30 or anytime before August 11, 2010, and register!
: Read Books -- Win Cool Prizes 1st: You must be going into 5th grade or above to be in this program. 2nd: You must earn your chances to bid on prizes by reading books. Check it out! 3 magazines to earn 1 ticket Books on CD = number of pages in actual book to get ticket value 3rd: Fill out a short summary sheet about the most interesting scene in the book. You can get these sheets at the library. 4th: Come to the library to receive raffle tickets. Fill out tickets with your name and phone number and place them in the appropriate cans located in the Children's Department. There is one can per prize. Come in anytime between June 28-August 11, 5:30 to submit tickets. On August 11, join us for Monster Bash: The End of the Summer, All You Can Eat, Junk Food Party. Come dressed as a classic monster (Dracula, Frankenstein, werewolf, ghost, etc...) and win extra tickets to bid on prizes. You must register for this party. You must also be registered for the reading game in order to come to this party. |
