Sign up for the reading game at the library. For every book read, earn 1-3 tickets to win fabulous at the end of the summer

In keeping with the Indiana Jones theme, come see giant millipedes, hissing cockroaches, tarantulas and a lot more disgusting bugs. Remember, it's not Fear Factor. You can touch 'em. You can observe them, but you can't eat them!

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be on Jeopardy? Come to Have a Ball Game Show and get ready to answer some of the most popular trivia questions around. How well do you know your stars, your music, your movies? You don't need to be a brain to play. Buzz into the library and win, win, win prizes.

Digging Up Ancient Civilizations.
Grades 5 and up.
Online registration required starting June 20.
Explore the ancient worlds like archeologist Indiana Jones. Dig into artifacts. Learn about old world customs through stories. When you've gained enough knowledge of the ancient world, try your hand at the ancient civilization game, a giant game board where you are the pawn.

All You Can Eat Junk Food Party!

Have the eating adventure of a lifetime. Come to an all you can eat candy buffet. While you eat, we'll raffle off the prizes you have been working so hard to win. You MUST be registered in the Young Adult Summer Reading Program to attend. Be there -- if you dare.

Field Trip

IN PERSON registration required starting July 11.
Ever want to go in those big bouncy houses that they have at little kids birthday parties? Now is your chance. No need to be embarrassed, just jump on into fun. Come on a field trip with us where you'll jump, bounce, slide, climb and play. It's a huge, private, indoor party with slides over 22 feet tall and an obstacle course over 70 feet long. You'll have the best time ever. Pizza will be served. A small fee will be charged upon registration. For more details visit the Children's Department or call 671-0949 ext. 5.
