man, welcome to the library's Seventies Style Summer Reading Program.
The following list will allow you to get down and read works from some of
the most fantabulous authors of this century.
For every book you read, you can win a chance at some groovy prizes.
Yo, what are you waiting for? Put
your pedal to the medal. choose a book, sit back, relax and read.
To
Earn Chances To Bid On Auction Prizes:
-Read
a book of your choice to receive 1 chance.
You do not have to read from the lists that follow.
These are just suggestions. Read
from the Bell Bottom Bonanza section and earn 2 tickets.
-Find
the answer to a question in our Styling Seventies Trivia Game and you could win
up to 3 additional chances per day. Game
date to be announced.
To
Bid On Auction Prizes:
-Fill
out chances and place them in the appropriate cans.
There is one can for each prize. You
may distribute your chances any way you wish, bidding on several prizes or
placing many bids on one particular prize.

If
you like junk food, join us on August 13, 2003.
We'll be holding our Disco Boogie Junk Food Party with over $100- worth
of licorice, Sour Patch Kids, Doritoes, soda, etc... If you come dressed in
fantabulous seventies style clothing (bell bottoms, platform shoes, leisure
suits, etc... ), we'll give you up to 3 additional tickets to bid on prizes.
Be creative and have fun. Costumes
are strictly optional.
