The Billerica Public Library offers weekly emergent literacy programs (storyhours) to babies, toddlers, and preschool children.  These programs foster a love of reading and promote literacy and intellectual curiosity.

Each summer, children of all ages and their families are invited to participate in our summer reading program which is designed to motivate children to discover the personal joy of reading and to showcase the reading achievements of Billerica's youth.  In addition to being a reading program, it is also a recreation program including performers, crafts, and activities.
