____________________________________________________________________________ The Children's Room is happy to present the following owl programs in celebration of the library's "One Book, One Billerica" program. This year's book is entitled "Hoot" by Carl Hiaasen, a Newbery Honor book about a boy trying to save a colony of burrowing owls.
Wild Tales presented by Drumlin Farms Saturday, March 6 for ages 3-5 from 10-10:30 a.m. and 10:45-11:15 a.m. Online registration starts Monday, February 8 at 9:00 a.m. Children will hear 2 stories, Owl Babies by Martin Waddell and Bear's New Friend by Karma Wilson and then meet a live owl from the books! Find out where owls live, eat, sleeps and the friends it keeps.
The World Of Owls presented by Wingmasters
Monday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. For ages 4 and up. Online Registration starts Monday, February 22 at 9:00 a.m. Kids, come meet some owls and learn fascinationg facts about them!
