ONE BOOK, ONE BILLERICA
![]() |
What? One Book, One Billerica, Pass It On is a community-wide book discussion group. It centers on the book "Hoot" by Carl Hiaasen, encouraging people to come together in the library, coffee shop, dentist office waiting room, schools, homes and offices to read and discuss the same book at the same time. |
When? January 1, 2010 through March 31st. Who? This is a collaborative project between the Billerica Public Library and the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library, Inc. and is partially funded through a grant from FLIR Systems through the Billerica Community Fund. Why? The program’s goals are to bring the community together through a shared experience and to promote reading. In essence, we want to create a town-wide book club that will spark discussion among friends, families, co-workers, colleagues and strangers! Where? You can pick up a copy of "Hoot" at the Library, O’Connor Hardware, the Coffee Emporium, , Curves, Billerica Chiropractic, Dr. Feuerstein, DMD, Collins Bowladrome, Java’s Brewin’, Colleen Sgroi’s Art Gallery, Billerica Senior Center, Billerica Boys and Girls Club, and the Town Hall. How? You can participate by reading the book and sharing it with family and friends and then passing it on to another community member. Watch for special programming that will complement the themes in the book and further enhance this shared reading experience. Connect to our "Hoot" Blog.

TAX FORMS
The library is a distribution point for both State and Federal Income Tax forms. If you need a particular form, we may have it here. All the forms are located in the Reference Room on the 2nd floor (STATE FORMS HAVE NOT ARRIVED YET) or you can look online and print out a form at the Mass Department of Revenue site for State forms or the IRS site for Federal forms. The library staff is not qualified to answer your tax questions but we are happy to assist you in finding the forms you need.
